Getting your teeth whitened may have sounded like an expensive thing in the past, but today, it’s really widespread and cheaply available. If you’ve got a regular job, you can’t allow yourself to miss out on such a great opportunity. Even if you’re not so financially stable, you can still get some really cheap teeth whitening solutions, which will allow you to experience the same results without paying so much. Of course, you’ll probably have to sacrifice some other factors – such as time, but in the end, it’ll be worth it.

Buying a kit

Teeth whitening kits are one of the cheapest ways to perform the procedure at home, without much hassle. You can buy one for as low as $300, and the results will most often be great. You need to make sure you’re buying from a reputed brand though, otherwise you risk using untested substances on your teeth and eventual damage – something you’d want to avoid at all costs. It’s best to consult a dentist about a certain brand before performing the operation on yourself, as he/she will know best if it works.

Creating the mixture yourself

Now this is a tricky way to do it. You can perform a teeth bleaching substance at home with ingredients readily available on the market. All you need is some baking soda, and some Hydrogen Peroxide. Mix the two until you get a paste with a thick consistency. This is what you’ll be applying to the teeth, but it may end up tasting rather unpleasantly. The best way to combat this is with some regular toothpaste – add it to the mix, but don’t overdo it and don’t add too much. When you’re satisfied, you may also add a pinch of table salt to act as an abrasive.

Don’t go too cheap

Remember, the price of teeth whitening has been steadily going down lately, however this does not mean that you can safely buy any cheap product. Carefully inspect if beforehand, and make sure you’re not being ripped off – this is something serious, it concerns your dental hygiene. You cannot risk compromising it in any way, so you need to make sure you’re betting on the best when spending your money.

Try to talk to some friends and dentists, see if anyone has an impression of such products – if a friend of your has been satisfied by a brand of teeth whitening kits, you may very well be satisfied too!
