Apart from that, you’ll have to pay something extra here and there – dentist services cost a lot sometimes, and you should also be ready to cover your expenses after the procedure – which can be costly as well. You may need a custom-made tray, in case those in the whitening kit don’t fit your teeth. This will cost you, as it’s an effort-requiring procedure, in which the dentist has to take an image of your teeth and sculpt a tray based on it. Depending on your dentist’s personal preferences, he may charge you a lot for this, or he may even do it for free if you do the procedure itself there. In any case, you should keep it in mind.

So, can I afford it?

This is the question that boggles everyone’s mind in the end. The truth is, teeth whitening isn’t all that expensive anymore, and you should probably be able to cover every cost associated with it easily, provided you live a regular life. Just make sure you don’t go overboard with the expenses, buying things you don’t need related to the procedure – only get the most basic things and work from there. This is the way most people do it and are able to get away with paying very little for their teeth whitening.
